Fluz Cash Back App Review: Earn Cash Back from your Network of Invites!

9/11/2020

Comments

The Fluz Cash Back App is taking a Network Marketing / Multi Level Marketing (MLM) angle to earning cash back. Typically I'm not a fan of anything that even mentions MLM or Network Marketing, but I do love cash back apps, so I decided to check it out. At first glance, it's really just a Cash Back App, so I'll start there to show you how to earn Cash Back using Fluz. If you're interested in the Network Marketing portion, be sure to checkout my video overview of the Network Marketing opportunity to see how you can earn cash back from people you invite, plus the people that they invite, as well as bonuses once you reach certain levels, thus the Multi Level component of the app.

How Does It Work?

So first the Cash Back portion of the app and how it works. Just like any other cash back app, with Fluz you can earn money for shopping at specific retailers. First you would select a location you would like to buy a product, whether online or in person at a physical store. You can browse the app to find the many cash back offers they have at any moment. After selecting your store, and items you would like to purchase, go to checkout as you normally would. Once you're checking out, you will select the exact store you're at, and enter the exact amount you are paying including taxes into the Fluz app, then make your payment within the app.

After making your payment within the app you will receive a scannable barcode, as well as a card number and pin, which you will use to pay for your items in the store or online. Essentially you're receiving a gift card or debit card number, which can be scanned for payment at the physical store, or for online purchases you can copy and paste the barcode and pin number. Since the app is new to me, I decided to test it out at Starbucks. In an upcoming video/blog post I'll tell you why I chose to test this at Starbucks first, as Starbucks is one of the many stores I shop at as part of my Cash Back Stacking Strategies. When I buy a drink from Starbucks I typically use the Starbucks app to make purchases, so I started my purchase like I normally would. I opened the Starbucks app, selected my drink, then went to the checkout page. On this page I now have my total with taxes included.

My Experience

Now that I'm using the Fluz app, before making my payment in the Starbucks App, I open the Fluz app, click on Pay at the bottom of the screen, search for Starbucks which is currently giving 2% cash back on purchases, then I select the amount I would like to purchase as a gift card. Because it's Starbucks, you're more than likely spending more than $5...I like to call them Five Bucks for that reason...so I selected to add $10 to cover the specific drink I like. There's also an even better reason to do a minimum of $10 each time which I'll discuss later. After making the gift card purchase in the Fluz app I will receive the gift card code and pin number, and you will also see that I've earned 20 cents in cash back once this transaction completes. Once I have the code on my screen I can flip back to the Starbucks app and add this gift card as a form of payment. Then use the gift card to pay for my Starbucks drink while still also earning my Starbucks rewards points for using the app for payment! Win win!

Now the reason I would suggest a minimum of a $10 gift card purchase in most cases, not just Starbucks, is because when you use my referral link to get started using the Fluz app you will receive three vouchers for 35% cash back on your first 3 purchases! $3.50 is the maximum you can earn with the 35% voucher, meaning that you only receive 35% on the first $10 you spend. Any amount over $10 you will receive whatever the normal cash back is for that store, which in the case of Starbucks is currently 2%. Examples of locations you can use your voucher include Starbucks, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Domino's, Papa Johns, Chipotle, and many many more. Some locations may require manager's assistance in order to use the code, as it is considered an eGift Card. For instance, as I was scrolling through the available stores I selected Sam's Club and Walmart, and I received a message stating that it may require manager's assistance. Be sure to check this when shopping at physical location's, in case the cashier is unaware you can give them a heads up that you may need a manager.

How to Use My Cash Back?

So your next question might be, well how do I use the cash back I've earned, and are there withdrawal minimums? Once your Cash Back reaches a minimum of $26 you can withdraw your cash balance. Options to withdraw include transferring to your PayPal account, or a direct ACH transfer to your checking or savings account. That's cash money in your pocket! Using just the vouchers you receive on invites alone, you could withdraw earned cash back after inviting 5 people, and using the 3 additional vouchers you earned for signing up.

I personally like to use the Cash Back I earn to invest into the Stock Market. For each app or credit card that I receive cash back for, I then transfer the balance to my M1 Finance account so that I can buy fractional shares of expensive stocks like Amazon, Apple, and Tesla, or invest into ETF's like the Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF or their S&P 500 ETF. Think of it as free money to invest into the stock market! If you'd also like to start investing the cash back you earn using M1 Finance, be sure to use my referral link so you can get started today! Also checkout my tutorial video where I walk you through step by step how to use M1 Finance. I recommend starting with at least $100 when you open the account, and to setup reoccurring deposits each week or each month so you're on an automatic investing schedule. The great thing about using your Fluz app cash back with M1 Finance is that all you need is a minimum of $25 to invest into an M1 Finance Pie, so once you reach your $26 minimum withdrawal with the Fluz app, you can use this cash back to immediately invest into your favorite stocks or ETFs after transferring that $26 to your PayPal or checking account! This way you can turn your purchases into Cash Back, and your Cash Back into investments!
